Former KCH Transportation logistics technology leader brings hands-on TMS and customer experience expertise to Revenova’s product organization.
CHICAGO, IL — Revenova, the leading provider of transportation management system (TMS) solutions built natively on Salesforce, today announced that Austin Wallin has joined the company as VP of Product Strategy.
Wallin joins Revenova from KCH Transportation, Inc., where he served as Vice President of Strategy and Technology. In that role, he led the buildout of KCH’s customer and carrier portal experiences — including personalized, branded customer views, embedded QBR dashboards, and a carrier-facing loadboard and support experience — as well as internal tools like KCH’s “Command Center,” a single-page workspace giving operations managers real-time visibility and control over loads, reassignments, and pay adjustments. Wallin and the Revenova executive team have worked closely with KCH leadership to ensure they have the best support available to them during this transition and for years to come.
“This opportunity means a lot to me,” said Wallin. “What drew me in was the chance to have a much greater impact on the industry as a whole, and I’m truly grateful to get to do that alongside such a talented team.”
Austin will play an instrumental role in shaping Revenova’s product roadmap and go-to-market strategy. Revenova is excited to have his industry perspective, technology expertise, and customer-first approach on the team as Revenova continues to drive the transportation industry forward.
“Austin has been on the other side of the screen for years, running real freight on our software; that perspective is hard to hire for,” said Rob Ostermann, Revenova’s Chief Technology Officer. “He has always given us clear, specific feedback about ways the product could better serve our customers. That’s exactly the voice I want at the table as our product team sets priorities, and our roadmap will be better for it.”
As a Revenova customer, Wallin was closely involved with the Revenova team, most recently as a featured customer presenter at the company’s User Conference, where he led a session on end-user experience — covering how KCH built and refined its customer and carrier portals, streamlined check-call processes, and drove automation-led efficiency gains across its carrier network.
“This is an exciting day for Revenova to have Austin Wallin joining our mission critical work,” said Chris Wyndham, Revenova’s Chief Executive Officer. “We are doubling down on our dedication to building purpose-driven, user-friendly solutions for our transportation and logistics community. There is nobody better than Austin to ensure we keep our promises while innovating in ways that future proof the businesses we serve.”
