Revenova, Drumkit launch new partnership for increased ELD access

 In Press Release

Phoenix, Ariz. – With the Drumkit API now connected to Revenova TMS, customers using the Fleet Operations module can access more than 50 telematics devices and ELDs to allow improved tracking of trucks.

Drumkit.ai is one of Revenova’s newest partners as of 2024, but already bringing incredible value to the TMS.

“We update the vehicle’s location in the TMS, and this will also trigger ‘position update’ callouts to the new Trimble API,” Harrison Elliott, Revenova’s Software Engineer working on the integration, said. “We’re also getting Hours of Service availability, HOS Daily Logs, and HOS Events via Drumkit, and inserting new records to the database.”

With Drumkit’s ELD connections, Revenova TMS: Fleet Operations users will be better set up for growth and scalability.

“We know that carrier and customer relationships are critical for brokers,” Dhruv Gupta, Drumkit’s CEO and co-founder, said. “That’s how you build your business, and so what we do is we try to take the toil away.”

Gupta and his cofounders’ goal with Drumkit was to eliminate technology headaches and improve relationships with carriers and their technologies.

“Getting as much of that data as possible in one place means that you can offer as many carriers as you want all the solutions and bells and whistles of your product,” Gupta added. “As soon as you have to spend time integrating with the tool or spend time dealing with another piece of technology, everyone is going to suffer. Everyone will suffer because carriers aren’t going to have great relationships with your software, and you’re going to be frustrated by how long it takes to onboard someone.”

Elliott echoed Gupta’s point, noting how easy it will be for carriers and fleet managers to build their relationships with Revenova TMS: Fleet Operations.

“For now, much of our integration with Drumkit revolves around synchronization of vehicles and drivers,” Elliott added. “Being able to keep track of both, and any changes to either, will be incredibly important for Fleet Managers. Having a built in CRM helps keep track of every relationship from drivers to customers. Within the Fleet Operations module, managers can keep track of all their vehicles, loads, drivers, and other assets. If a vehicle or driver is created or updated in the TMS, we’ll make an API callout to do the same in Drumkit. Likewise, if a vehicle or driver is created or updated in the Drumkit or telematics service provider UIs, it will be updated in the TMS database.”

Even though the partnership is just starting out, both Gupta and Elliott see the growth and potential on the horizon.

“This is a partnership that has already proven itself over and over again,” Eliott added. “From the development side, we’re excited to bring this partnership to our customers and help fleets grow. The pipeline for this integration includes the ability to get Documents and Messages. All of these API callouts, synchronization, and insertion of new records into the database are bundled together.”

“Revenova has been an amazing partnership for us at Drumkit because they’ve got this fantastic breadth of technology,” Gupta said. “Their Salesforce API means that everything is customizable. At the same time, they’ve got really strong opinions about how to run your workflows, which makes it straightforward for any brokerage to just pick up and plan. They’ve been really easy to work with and encompass the best of the best of the market, especially given how broad and successful they’ve been over the last few years.”
